128Robinson Program:

A rooming and boarding house for single men whereby clients receive support services to assist them in maintaining independent living. Residents are involved in work therapy and other services including medical supervision, meals and transportation while continuing to enjoy the family environment that has contributed to their sobriety and improved standard of living.

For the period July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006, Robinson Program provided a total of 7,651 bed days.

Robinson Program

I’m a recovering addict. I grew up in Pennsylvania 15 miles from here. I have two years of college and twelve years in the military and through all this drugs had always been a part of my adult life.

For the next 14 years, I was in and out of rehabs all over the country. Ten months ago, I left my job at quitting time and I never picked-up my check because I refused to give it to the drug dealer. I’ve been at the Mission ever since. After I finished Vince's Place, I was offered a chance to move into the Robinson Program. I’m facing my problems and I realize they are not as bad as I make them out to be. Drugs are no longer my best friend. Instead I’ve formed friendships with some guys in my program.
