The Rescue Mission of Trenton’s special friend Joyce – The Quilt Lady, coordinates offsite projects and collections to benefit the Rescue Mission

HOW CAN YOU BE A PART OF THE LINE OF HOPE?

  • Have your group collect and put together hygiene kits that contain the following (items may vary): toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, razor, washcloth, comb, lotion, powder, tissues, and feminine hygiene products.
  • Coordinate an on-site clothing drive at work/school/house of worship.
  • Coordinate an on-site food drive at work/school/house of worship.
  • Let us know of anyone with special talents we can call upon, i.e., artists, printers, painters [also sign painters], plumbers, lawyers, etc.
  • Work on-site with us in some of the difficult jobs: tutoring, driving, etc.
  • Invite a Mission speaker to your work/school/house of worship.
  • Work with your group in a fun way to get supplies or cash for the Rescue Mission.
  • Purchase goods in our store.

HOW TO VOLUNTEER
Contact Rosemarie Feldman, Administrative Assistant (609-396-2183, extension 104), who will direct your call to the appropriate individual.

TEACH Program Volunteers
Without the services, support, and dedication of the TEACH Volunteers the educational component and job placement would not be possible. These volunteers work one-on-one or in small groups providing direct tutoring services in math, English, computer literacy, and special areas.
A degree is not necessary -- what is, is the desire and time commitment to help. We will help you fit in where you will be most effective. If computers are your interest - we need basic tutors! Sports’ Enthusiast? How about a current events class on the hot topic of the week. You will be amazed at how much your interest and time means to someone who has been left out!
